Residential Camps

Camp

Residential camps give children and young people the opportunity to enjoy challenging group activities which enhance their social and problem solving skills as well as providing them with a deeper insight into the Christian faith.

Peter has a wealth of experience in supporting groups, churches and schools on residential camps and weekends away. Over many years he has worked as part of a team leading such ventures, both during school term time and over the holidays.

Camps involve plenty of fun, silly games, organised activities on and off site, talks, study sessions, buzz groups, lively music and worship, and plenty of free time to think, reflect, or develop and deepen new friendships.

Recognising the financial pressures that many families are under, CSP keeps costs to a minimum and works hard to obtain funding support from other organisations.

Always aware of the importance of safeguarding issues when young people are accommodated away from home, each adult that is (or may be) placed in charge of children or young people is subject to mandatory enhanced DBS checks. Generally these are arranged through The Congregational Federation Ltd/Churches’ Agency for Safeguarding.
